WHAT YOUR SPONSORSHIP SUPPORTS:
- 100% = direct charitable support. All sponsorship contributions fund club grants and service projects benefiting nonprofit organizations serving our local and global communities.
- 0% = event costs. We work hard to keep costs low and strive to cover all expenses through ticket sales.
- Sponsorship contributions are fully tax deductible and are payable to the Rotary Club of Oyster Point Foundation, a 501(c)3 charitable organization.
Like all Rotary clubs, our giving aligns with Rotary International’s areas of focus. We’re particularly focused on children’s and family causes. Last year’s funds supported:
- Local causes: (here are a few) Youth Volunteer Corps, Mariners’ Museum (children’s programs), Lackey Free Clinic, EDMARC, Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA), CNU Lighthouse Fund, City of Newport News Behavioral Health Docket, The University of Virginia Innocence Project, YMCA Bright Beginnings, Peake Childhood Center, and Thrive.
- International aid: The Rotary Foundation, PolioPlus, and The Ghana Well Project.
