outgoing District Governor Gary Chenault made the following 
What a banner year our Rotary Clubs had in 2015-16.
You set a new record in Annual Fund giving of $587,601
(an increase of 7% from the previous year) !!
You set a new record of Annual Fund contributions of
$211.44 per capita (an increase of $16.55 per Rotarian) !!
On top of that, we gave over $132,000 to PolioPlus.
We are 'doing good in the world'......thanks to YOU!
Over the last three years of District Grant awards
we have disbursed almost $350,000 in District Designated
Funds in 58 grants to our Clubs to serve their communities.
We have a total of $138,711 available for District Grants this year.
Last year, The Rotary Foundation approved nine Global Grants
totaling $195,420 in DDF: two grants to Ghana for a water
system and family health day, two grants to Rwanda for bridges 
and farmer training, a grant to Lebanon for computer training,
a Vocational Training Team for the Philippines, a Global Scholar
to South America, an eye care grant to Jamaica and a grant for 
a hospital operating room in India.
